Brick coloured with a brownish tinge, this is a great colheita from a probably underrated brand in the Port world.
The nose gives us a lot of sweet notes, caramel and raisins, nicely balanced by some red wild berries. Complex and layered, the aromas linger in the nose anticipating a good tasting. Which does not disappoint.
Sweet and smoky, supported by a lively acidity which guarantees it a long life, the wine shows a great deal of fruit, tannins which are nicely integrated with the whole structure and a wonderful persistent finish.
