A medium-range douro red, this shows wild red berries on the nose, along with some flowers and oak. Later on, it opens up to some toast, smokier notes.
In the mouth it's an average bodied wine, the soft, balanced tannins giving it some structure and balance. Balanced acidity and a finale that brings to mind wild red fruits. Good, average persistence finishes up a taste that reveals a round, ready and easy to drink wine that is a good choice for a day to day wine.
