EA is a brand of wines produced by Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, an Alentejo producer that is famous for the Cartuxa brand, whose red and white wines are really worth your time and money.
This is the premium wine (around 8€) for the EA brand, which offers younger, simpler wines made to be drunk within a year or two. And as far as these wines go, this is actually a good bet. Ruby coloured, the aromas are filled with ripe red fruit and some toast/oak in the background.
In the mouth, a rounded, fruit-forward wine, with soft tannins and a smooth body. Average finale sustaining the fruit-forward approach.
Easy to drink, slightly sweet and not very expensive, I would say this is a great choice for a party wine.
