The second wine from Quinta das Tecedeiras, this is a great example of what the Douro can offer in this segment (10 to 15 EUR). A dark ruby wine in colour, it has a powerful nose, with blackberries and flowers, some jam and some vegetable notes. Tasting it, it shows great acidity, nice balanced tannins and a good volume. The finish is flowery and long.
Pair with meat based dishes (fava beans with pork and chorizo, for instance) and it will definitely work out.
