And yet another red from Fundação Eugénio Almeida, from Évora, this dark ruby-coloured wine expresses some really nice black berries on the nose, combined with spices - pepper, vanilla and some cinnamon.
Well structured in the mouth, it shows that has more than fruit to show for itself, as the oak gives it something more. Velvet tannins finish off a sleek, weel composed body. Average persistence finale rounds off the taste.
