Region: Alentejo
Country: Portugal
Greenish hue in the glass, the aromas bring to mind dried fruits (hazelnuts) and flowers. Underneath, sweet fruit tries to come to the foreground. Overall, an elegant, sleek bouquet for this Alentejo wine.
Tasting it, it shows a more citrus-based approach than the nose revealed. Fresh and well-structured, it shows a crisp acidity balanced by sweeter fruit notes. The end is medium-length coming along as a bit alcoholic.
Actually, at 14º, the alcohol feels a bit too much for the wine's structure and has a negative impact on the tasting. I believe the wine would benefit from a lower alcohol content.
