I believe this wine was an experience made by Quinta do Crasto a couple of years ago since I've been unable to find this wine again anywhere. The Crasto white wine that is available now is not Reserva and is very different. But they should really consider continuing with this Reserva since it was a good surprise. Starting with some complexity in the nose, it opened up to some floral and sweet fruit notes. A hint of oak and mineral finished up the bouquet. To the taste, it is an elegant, well rounded, structured wine showing more mineral notes and some tropical sweet fruit. It has a long, persistent finish. Overall, a nice surprise.
Will go along well with heavier fish dishes or white meats.
