A limited production from the Douro, this wine is a straightforward, simple wine. Deep ruby in colour, it has flowery aromas (violets from the Touriga Nacional), along with some black fruits and spices. Some hints of vanilla also show up. It is an elegant, well structured wine with a medium persistence finish and a nice acidity.
