This was another wine tasted at the Port and Douro wine fair in Lisbon last month. Although I liked the white better, since it had a very strong personal touch that helped it stand apart, this red is also a good effort.
Purple coloured, the nose gives us lots of ripe red fruit. In the mouth it's well balanced, but the tannins still need more time as they are still a bit hard. Lots of fruit throughout the taste without being a fruit bomb, it finishes with an average length ending.
Although I tasted it at the fair, it felt like a very gastronomical wine, able to pair comfortably with different dishes - a nice choice for an everyday wine.
