Quinta de Sant'Ana 2007

15.0 / 20
Producer: Quinta de Sant'Ana
Region: Mafra
Country: Portugal

A red wine from the Lisbon area (Mafra to be more exact), this is a simple, straightforward wine. In the nose, it shows some intensity, bearing jam, oak and some spices. Later on, some fresh red fruit appears. Tasting it, it's a dry, average bodied wine with some vegetable notes in the medium-length finish. It's an honest wine, but it lacks some depth and complexity in order to ascend to the next league.
