Region: Setúbal
Country: Portugal
A blend including Touriga Nacional, this is apparent in the nose from the start with notes of violets
and other flowers coming to the foreground. Later, leather and resin appear and, beneath it all, some discreet
but well balanced fruit.
Very alive, intense in the palate with notes of sweet red berries, along with a flowery feel - the Touriga again.
Oak and caramel complete the taste in a medium structured body with nice, velvety tannins and a good length.
Not a very classical Setúbal, but a worthy wine and a very good buy at 5€.
