Region: Alentejo
Country: Portugal
An intense and open bouquet on this Alentejo red, with loads of ripe, sweet red fruit, some oak notes - vanilla and dark chocolate/cocoa - and some spices on the side.
Fruit-forward in the palate as well, with lots of cherries and raspberries but feeling very well balanced in the average structure body. Good, fresh acidity and well tuned tannins, present but not overly strong, wrap up a convincing taste that ends in a medium length, fresh and slightly acid finish that leaves some good memories.
A nice Alentejo red at a nice price point.
