This is the top brand from Monte Seis Reis, a producer from Estremoz, Alentejo, from whom we have tasted some other wines.
Dark ruby, the bouquet centers around ripe red fruits - strawberries, mainly - with a background of spices, all very balanced and poised.
To the taste, this is a fruit forward wine, showing again notes of ripe red fruits - maybe a bit too ripe, showing a good, balanced acidity and some balanced tannins that give it some structure. Decent length finish leaving an aftertaste of strawberries that lingers for some time.
